What Moves You?

We say, if only I had More. More? Yes More. More money? Yes! I could buy anything to fill my more. Yes fill me up! More houses, more cars, more whatever.
More denotes a real perception that there is not enough, and that our survival and
well being depends on more things. Just a little more I say. Me, myself, and I --
We want more.
Others. They are usable (expendable) to obtain my more. Use them, hurt them, if I even have to crush them, I will get my more.
Really!! Found out more does not fill inner emptiness, sadness or pain. More (whatever) has legs - it moves, it runs. Every more becomes lesser and lesser. So the striving never ceases as we reach and overreach, "It's like chasing after the wind,"
(The elusive more). Internally joy, peace, trust, hope and most importantly love evaporates...leaving an inner dryness and hardness.
Enter people. They are whoever and they are the MORE. See them, hear them, touch them, reach out with love caring and compassion. Make your more OTHERS.
A joyful smile, an encouraging and an uplifting word, a meal with loving care. They are like living stones thrown out in a stream that forms ripples as it widens enriching the
swirl of others.
Let's live in the now. We will not wait for a crises. A crisis may be too late. Joy, Peace, Hope, Love - the overflowing gifts of Grace: when given away bubbles over in the giver and receiver as we share; everyone has MORE. Yes!!!
Martin Luther King said, "We are tied in a single garment to destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly."
Be the change. Read and consider John 15:12-17
